China National Association of American Studies (NAAS) was initiated in Beijing on July 14^th, 2018 by the International Economics and Finance Institute (IEFI) of the Ministry of Finance of China with other major think tanks affiliated to government agencies, universities and the private sector in China. Designed to carry out policy research and provide recommendations, NAAS conducts fundamental, policy-oriented and forward-looking research on domestic and foreign policies of U.S., and China-US relations. NAAS actively engages in international exchanges and cooperation and commits to making its voice to the world. IEFI serves as the secretariat of NAAS and is responsible for its daily operation.
